Imphal, December 21 2024: Lions Club of Imphal East organised a 1-Day Youth Exchange Programme at Bal Vidya Mandir, Palace Compound, Imphal on Saturday.

More than 120 people including students, teachers and club members participated in the Youth Exchange Programme, said a release issued by Lions Club of Imphal East.

During the programme, Dr P Rajmani Singh, Senior Philatelist, delivered a talk on "Philately as a Hobby" with slide presentation.

He explained how collection of postage stamps can be developed as a hobby and benefit of collecting stamps & other postal materials to the students.

He also mentioned the Deen Dayal SPASH Yojana through which students can get scholarships from the Indian Postal Department.
