'No Medicine To Cure Alzheimer'

The common disease among aged persons Alzheimer has no cure till date.
This was stated by Associate Professor Dr.R.K.Lelin while speaking at the World Alzheimer Day jointly organized by the Department of Social Welfare , Alzheimer and Related Disordered Society of India Manipur Chapter and Bharat Savak Samaj North Eastern Regional Branch today at Hotel Mass.
Dr.Lelin also narrated the discovery of the disease by German experts in the year 1906.Due to the loss of power and function of brain this problem develops, Dr .Lelin added.
If the disease is detected in early stage it can be controlled but if it becames complicated, the patient will die within seven years said Dr.Lelin.
Lose of memory power, loss of speech, inability to think clearly, unrests are common symptoms of the problem.
This occurs among the persons with over 65 years of age.
According to the age factor the aged persons the chances of affected by the disease also differed .
