WTBCC distributes essentials to Muslim families

Thoubal, March 20 2026: In connection with the celebration of Eid Ul Fitr following the holy month of Ramadan, the Wangjing Tentha Block Congress Committee (WTBCC) distributed essential commodities to Muslims families in Phundrei and Mairenkhul under Wangjing Tentha Assembly Constituency.

The distribution programme held on Thursday was attended by former Minister Moirangthem Hemanta along with members of the Wangjing Tentha Block Congress Committee.

During the event, essential items were provided to around 1,300 families from the two localities.

Speaking on the occasion, former Minister Moirangthem Hemanta appealed to the people to set aside differences and work collectively towards restoring peace and harmony in the State.

He expressed hope that the spirit of Eid-Ul-Fitr would usher in harmony and unity among communities.
