Bishnupur, August 18 2025: A technology demonstration programme under the Mera Resham Mera Abhiman (MRMA) campaign was conducted today at the Muga Extension Centre (MEC), Mandha Ching, Bishnupur district.

Organised by the CSB-Regional Sericulture Research Station (RSRS), Imphal in collaboration with the Department of Sericulture, Bishnupur district, the programme was attended by 30 farmers.

During the programme, Dr Sinam Subharani Devi, Scientist-D & Head, CSB-RSRS, Imphal gave a detailed demonstration on the preparation and applications of various disinfectants, importance of disinfection for maintaining hygienic conditions and disease management and popularized PET bottle traps-a low cost and effective trap for control of uzi flies among the farmers.
