Thoubal to organise drawing competition to mark International Day Against Drug Abuse

Thoubal, June 17 2026: The District Social Welfare Office, Thoubal, has notified to all concerned that it will organise an on-the-spot drawing competition for students of Class VI to Class X on June 26 in connection with the observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2026 .

The competition will be held from 11 am to 1 pm at the Counting Hall of the DC Office, Thoubal.

The first prize carries a cash award of Rs 4,000, while the second and third prizes will receive Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively.

Three consolation prizes carrying Rs 500 each will also be given.

All participating students will be provided with chart paper and drawing materials, including pencils and crayons, at the venue.

The District Social Welfare Officer has invited interested students to participate in the competition and contribute towards spreading awareness against drug abuse.
