Senapati, January 17 2026: With the goal of reaching communities in far-flung areas with limited access to quality healthcare services, BLATH Clinic, Rikhumai Taphou organised a one-day free health camp at Bakie (Yangkhunou) village in Senapati district.

The village is about 90 kms away from District Headquarters, Senapati.

Around 100 patients received essential health check ups and consultations at the free health camp held today.

Addressing the media, Bakie village chairman Egohangbe Hau expressed gratitude to BLATH Clinic for organising such a free health camp for villagers of Yangkhullen areas by treating the sick, distributing free medicines as well as transporting the old people and in their ambulance.

After tending to about 100 patients, Dr S Bogisg Reikhenamai MS (Surgery) and MD, BLATH Clinic mentioned that the majority of them were found within higher BP readings and attributed it to high salt consumption in their diet.

The medical team advised the people to reduce their salt intake and also distributed free medicines as per the complaints received.
