Thoubal, Kamjong to hold Jan Kalyan Shivir camps

Thoubal/Kamjong, June 15 2026: The district administrations of Thoubal and Kamjong have announced the organisation of Jan Kalyan Shivir (Public Welfare Camps) aimed at extending the benefits of various Central and State Government welfare schemes to the public.

According to a circular issued by Deputy Commissioner Thoubal, a Jan Shiver will be organised at the Counting Hall of the DC Office, Thoubal, on June 17, 19 and 20, 2026, from 11 am to 3 pm.

The initiative seeks to ensure the effective outreach and saturation of various welfare and beneficiary-oriented schemes of both the Central and State Government among the people.

Meanwhile, the District Administration.

Kamjong, has informed that Mega Registration Camps under the Jan Kalyan Shivir programme will be organised from June 17 to 19 across various locations in the district.

For Sahampung subdivision.

the camps will be held at Mapum High School, Maku High School and Shingcha Primary School on June 17, 18 and 19.In Kamjong sub-division, the camps will take place at Bungba Khullen on June 17, Kongkan on June 18, and Ramphoi on June 19.Similarly, for the Phungyar sub-division, the camps will be organised at Ramrei Community Hall, Phalang Community Hall and Lungphu Community Hall on June 17, 18 and June 19, respectively.

The administration of both districts have appealed to the public to attend the camps and avail themselves of the various welfare schemes and services being offered under the programme.
