Manipur Guard Service celebrates Silver Jubilee

Imphal, December 14 2025: Marking 25 years of dedicated services and commitment, Manipur Guard Service (MGS) celebrated its Silver Jubilee today at the natural football ground ofSAI, NERC in Takyel.

The celebration was graced by dignitaries, including Dr Shyam Sundar Rath, Vice Chancellor, National Sports University Imphal; Salam Chaoba, Director, MGS; Laishram Dibamani, Registrar, National Sports University Imphal; and L Tiken, former Director, SAI, NERC, Takyel.

Speaking on the occasion, Salam Chaoba said that since its inception, MGS has been providing quality service at various Departments of the Government, banks and private institutions.

"Over 400 employees of MGS have been deployed at various institutions, including National Sports University and SAI, NERC", said Chaoba while expressing pride that MGS has not received any form of complaint so far.

Chaoba also assured that MGS will continue to provide quality security service to the people.

As part of the event, awards were presented to outstanding employees of MGS .
