KWWO, AAMA condemn Modi's silence

The Kanglei Women's Welfare Association (KWWO) and Apunba Awonba Manipur Amagidamak (AAMA) have denounced Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not uttering a single word about the abduction of three women and three children by Kuki militants.
Speaking to the media at Manipur Press Club today, AAMA president Arambam ongbi Lata said that the whereabouts of these six individuals are still unknown.
Appealing to all concerned to release the abductees on humanitarian ground, she also appealed to both the Centre and the State Government to save the lives of the women and children who are in the custody of Kuki militants.
The Prime Minister had condemned the nude parade incident but he chose to remain silent when even a breast-feeding child has been taken hostage by the Kuki militants, she rued.
