Imphal, July 14 2026:
As part of the commemorative events marking the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar V allabhbhai Patel, the Manipur Police Training College (MPTC), Pangei, organised a Nyaya Sanhita Campaign on Tuesday at the Vikram Batra (PVC) Auditorium of Sainik School Imphal.
The programme saw enthusiastic participation from cadets who showed keen interest in understanding the evolving legal framework and its role in nation-building through policing.
The campaign aimed to create awareness about the provisions and objectives of the Nyaya Sanhita, while highlighting the importance of justice, accountability, and the rule of law in modem policing.
Officials of MPTC and visiting dignitaries delivered informative presentations on the salient features of the Nyaya Sanhita, its relevance in the criminal justice system, and the responsibilities of law enforcement in its effective implementation.
The event concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, where cadets sought clarifications and exchanged ideas with the speakers.
Organisers said the campaign inspired cadets to uphold integrity, discipline, and professionalism, and also inculcated patriotism, national unity, and dedication to public service in line with Sardar Patel's vision of a united India.
