Wisecrabs marks 8th Foundation Day in Chandel

Chandel, August 13 2026: Wisecrabs celebrated its 8 th Foundation Day on Thursday with a programme highlighting the organisation's journey and its efforts to promote learning, interaction and exchange of ideas and experiences within the community.

Established in 2018, Wisecrabs has sought to provide a platform for bringing together achievers and members of the community to share knowledge, experiences and perspectives.

The programme, moderated by Hb Orchid, began with an opening prayer by Bd Daniel, followed by a welcome address by Bd Thanila.

A special song was presented by Lh Thahrin, while Morangam Tontang shared his "Journey with Wisecrabs" as part of the celebration.

Congratulatory messages were delivered by Dr Bd Thumdal, former Principal of United College Chandel; Villy Kiho-Lukhu, Principal of Little Ones Preparatory School; Dr Amarson Sankhil, Principal of JNV Chandel; Lt Col Adith, 2IC, 10 Assam Rifles; and Hechin Haokip, Director of CWG.

The celebration also featured a cake-cutting and refreshment session, followed by a presidential address by Ts Mhanthung Anal.

KL Varni presented a special song.

The formal programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Db Rengshing.

An executives' meeting was scheduled to follow the celebration.
