Felicitation ceremonies held at various places

Imphal, August 11 2024: The 11th Felicitation and Meritorious/Incentive Awards distribution programme for students who secured goodmarks in Class X & XII examinations was held today at Konthoujam Kangjeibung Community Hall.

It was attended by Health/IPR Minister, Dr Sapam Ranjan Singh; Relief & Disaster Management, Director, KG Daigong; LYS Group, Kwakeithel, managing partner, Laishram Ratan Kumar and Administrative Committee of Yurembam Zilla Parishad, Member, Th Robindro Singh as presidium members.

Around 76 students from Konthoujam Gram Panchayat area were honoured during the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sapam Ranjan emphasized the need for holistic and inclusive education that nurtures students' physical, mental and emotional well-being.

"Every student needs strong willpower to polish oneself in almost various fields", he added.

The Minister advised the students to approach their seniors and learn from their experience, study patterns and how to answer properly.

He also advised the students to cultivate knowledge about their State, its components of formation, conception and present scenario.

"Every student should be aware of all the districts and the different communities residing in the State", he added.

Further, Dr Sapam Rajan highlighted the School Phagathansi Mission initiated by the Government to improve the education system of the State.

Similarly, All Uripok Apex Body (AUAB) also organised the 1 st Kabi Khwairakpam Chaoba Meritorious Award 2024 distribution programme at IMA hall in Lamphelpat.

The programme was conducted under the sponsorship of Uripok AC MLA, Kh Raghumani Singh.

It was attended by Kh Raghumani Singh; AUAB president, L Bimola Kishor Singh and Patsoi AC MLA, Sapam Kunjakeswor Singh as presidium members.

Altogether, 398 students of Uripok AC who secured good marks in Class X & XII examinations were felicitated during the programme.
