Kakching, June 10 2024: A new police booth built at Kakching Keithel Thongkhong sponsored by Kakching Bazar Business Welfare Association (KBBWA) was handed over to Kakching District Police today.

The handing over ceremony was graced by Superintendent of Police (SP) Kakching Th Vikramjit; KBBWA president N Sanatomba alias Chaoton and former Minister and member of Senior Citizens Forum Kakching, Nongmaithem Nimai as the presidium members.

Speaking as the chief guest, Kakching SP Th Vikramjit expressed gratitude to KBBWA for handing over the new police booth and said that such gestures will help the police forces considerably in maintaining law and order effectively in the region.

He went on to inform that police booths will be installed at other places of Kakching such as Hiyanglam-Wabagai Lamkhai and Pallel to ensure that the police are able to carry out their duties timely so as to prevent crimes and safeguard the public.
