Imphal, October 09 2026: North East circle winners who bagged the top positions in the Universal Postal Union (UPU) International Letter Writing Competition, held as part of the World Post Day, were feted at the Imphal Head Post office.

Winner of the NE circle, Thingbaijam Lanchenbi Chanu, a Class X student of Ibotonsana Higher Secondary School, received a Rs 25,000 cash award and certificate.

Kenneth Ningthoujam, a Class VI student of Sainik School Imphal, received Rs 10,000 cash award and certificate.

Imphal Head Office Postmaster L Radheshyam, Manipur Division Superintendent of Post Offices Ksh Kelvin, Divisional Office Imphal ASP (HQ) Ebai-A Esther Charakho attended the event.
