Imphal, October 09 2025: The results of the State Level RTI Essay Competition conducted by the Manipur Information Commission (MIC) on October 7, 2025 at the Training Hall of State Academy of Training, Takyelpathas been declared.

As per a release issued by MIC, the competition was conducted in connection with the observance of the RTI Week-2025.Naorem Chelsia of Manipur University won the 1st position in the essay competition while Naorem Rojen Singh of Dr Ambedkar Centre of Excellence, Manipur University secured the 2nd position and Khoisanam Athouba Tombo of LMS Law College, Imphal bagged the 3rd position.

Winners of consolation prizes are- Longjam Bikash Singh of Thoubal College, Sokhareipem Keishing of Modem College, Imphal and Khundrakpam Gyanendro Singh of LMS Law College, Imphal.

All the winners and participants of the Essay Competition will be honoured with a certificate of participation in the closing ceremony of the RTI Week-2025 scheduled to be held at the auditorium hall of Directorate of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) in Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal on October 10, 2025 at 1 pm .
