Hiyang Hiren VLF celebrates 1st foundation day

Moirang, September 07 2025: The Hiyang Hiren Village Level Federation (VLF), promoted by the Manipur State Livelihood Mission, Bishnupur, under the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Govt of Manipur, celebrated its first foundation day cum general bodymeeting at Phubala Awang Maning Community Hall.

The event was attended by Block Mission Manager Somia Thokchom; Cluster Coordinators Kumam Lenin Singh, Oinam Rajbidya Singh, Pukhram Satyajit Singh; MIS Manager Leishangthem Kunal Singh; Block Coordinator Skills Iland Singh, and president of Hiyang Hiren VLF Phubala, Wangkhem Premila Devi as presidium members.

As part of the celebration, cloth bags produced by Self Help Groups (SHGs) to promote the Plastic Free Zone initiative were made available to the general public.

The highlights of the programme included the presentation of the resolution of general body meeting, action plan and financial report, Bank Shakhi report sharing, testimonies from SHG members and an entertainment programme presented by the SHGs members.
