CRPF's Civic Action Programme continues

The 152 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a Civic Action Programme (CAP) today for the residents of Kanto Sabal village in Imphal West.
The initiative, guided by the IG, CRPF, Manipur and Nagaland Sector, aimed to enhance livelihoods and promote economic empowerment, particularly for local women.
As part of the programme, candle-making and diya (earthen lamp) making machines were distributed to foster sustainable development within the community.
The 152 Bn CRPF has previously conducted similar welfare activities in areas like Khurai, Thangmeiband, and Awang Sekmai, which included sports tournaments, distribution of machines, toilet renovations, and borewell installations.
The event featured vibrant dance performances by local artists, boosting community spirit and encouraging cultural exchange.
The occasion was graced by H Premjit Meitei, DIG Range Imphal, and Th Mema Devi, ExAssistant Commandant, CRPF as the chief guest & special guest respectively.
Other key attendees included Love Kumar, Commandant, 152 Bn CRPF; Vijay Bahadur Rajak, AC; Deepak Kumar, AC; Jasmat Kumar, AC; Ram Parvesh, AC; and village officials.
At the event, H Premjit Meitei lauded the efforts of the 152 Battalion and emphasized the transformative impact of such initiatives.
Villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the CRPF for the welfare initiatives.
