Imphal, October 06 2025: Former Up-Adakshya of Imphal East Zilla Parishad, Kshetri Tama Devi has written to Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla urging him for immediate relief and post-flood management services for flood affected people pf Kshetrigao Assembly Constituency.

In her letter to the Governor, Kshetri Tama stressed that recurring flood situation has caused untold hardship to the locals of Kshetrigao AC near the banks of the Iril and Kongba Rivers.

She urged the Governor to provide immediate relief and post-flood management services including temporary shelters, food, medical care, and livestock protection.

She also appealed to the Governor to ensure timely delivery of relief benefits, and initiate long-term flood control and management measures, including construction of embankments, river dredging, and protective infrastructure to safeguard against future calamities.
