ARPS Mantripukhri celebrates Annual Day

The Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Mantripukhri celebrated its 16th Annual Day with great pomp, mirth and fervour at Col Viplav Tripathi Training Shed, IGAR (SOUTH), Mantripukhri on Friday.
The event, held under the theme "Sanskriti Sangam: Confluence of Cultures", was graced by Navjeet Kaur, Regional President ARWWA, Brigadier KVP Singh Sambyal, Chairman, and members of the School Management Committee, said a release.
ARPS principal, Dr Alka Jain, teachers, parents and students also attended the event.
The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of lamp by the chief guest Navjeet Kaur followed by the release of the school magazine, "The Enlighteners".
Brigadier KVP Singh Sambyal delivered an inspiring and motivational speech encouraging the students to aim high and pursue their passions and expressed his best wishes for the school community.
During the event, Dr Alka Jain presented the progressive annual report of the school.
It was followed by the distribution of prizes to the meritorious students and felicitation of teachers.
The event continued with a rendition of exciting cultural programmes such as Thang-Ta, Ras Leela, Kashmiri dance, Yoga, etc.
The event concluded with the visit to the school stall by the dignitaries where the students showcased their various models.
