Imphal, September 04 2025: The Rongmei Naga People's Organization (RNPO) has formally issued a statement of reconciliation, putting an end to internal misunderstandings that had caused the body to remain dysfunctional for nearly a year.

According to the statement signed by the incumbent executives of RNPO for the tenure 2023-26, the organization admitted that differences among its leaders had adversely affected its functioning, inconveniencing the Rongmei community and the general public during the period.

The RNPO leadership expressed regret for the disruption and affirmed their commitment to work together in the larger interest of the Rongmei people.
