RS Khawungsing nominated Manipur president of Chamber for SC, ST, women entrepreneurs

Imphal, August 02 2026: RS Khawungsing has been nominated as the State president of the Indian Chambers of Commerce for SC, ST and Women Entrepreneurs, Manipur State, in recognition of his leadership qualities, commitment to entrepreneurship development and dedication towards empowering Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and women entrepreneurs.

National Joint Secretary (NER) of the Chamber, stated that Khawungsing, as State President, would represent the Chamber in Manipur and work towards promoting entrepreneurship among SC, ST and women entrepreneurs.

He will also be responsible for strengthening the Chamber's membership and organisational network across the State.

His responsibilities will further include coordinating with government departments, industry bodies, financial institutions and other stakeholders to advance the objectives of the Chamber, besides organising meetings, seminars, workshops, business development initiatives and outreach programmes in accordance with its policies and guidelines.

The Indian Chambers of Commerce for SC, ST and Women Entrepreneurs extended its best wishes to Khawungsing for a successfill tenure and expressed hope that his contribution would help strengthen entrepreneurship and promote inclusive economic development in Manipur.
