Shutdown threatened

Imphal, May 02 2026:
The Langdai Khangsunaha has threatened to impose a total shutdown on Tiddim Road from May 6 if the Government fails to take concrete action regarding the twin tragedies that occurred at Tronglaobi on April 7 .
Langdai Khangsunaha, a united platform of clubs and meira paibi groups from Malom to Meitram, made the announcement, demanding that the Government declare the April 7 bomb attack a terrorist attack and initiate a judicial inquiry into the killing of two siblings in the blast, as well as the deaths of three individuals in the CRPF firing by May 5 .
It said that their shutdown will also extend to the airport, Malom oil depot, and the railway project sites.
