Lianda Folk & Classical Academy celebrates silver jubilee

The Lianda Folk & Classical Academy (LFCA), a renowned dance institute and performing unit located in Nagamapal Soram Leirak, celebrated its Silver Jubilee today, marking 25 years of its establishment.
The grand event held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA) auditorium was graced by dignitaries, including Pukhrambam Bilash Singh, Director, JNMDA; Budha Chingtham, Member, Board of Governors, EZCC, Kolkata; and Rajmani Ayekpam, a noted short story writer, playwright, and art critic.
Speaking on the occasion, Bilash Singh lauded the LFCA's significant contribution over the past 25 years in imparting knowledge of dance and music to countless young children and aspiring artists.
He highlighted that the academy has produced many renowned individuals, many of whom have established successful careers.
Bilash attributed these achievements to the academy's dedicated efforts and expressed immense gratitude for their work.
He also announced that JNMDA would provide all possible assistance to the academy in the future.
The event featured captivating performances, including Krishna Bandana, Mangla Charan, Taal Purusham, Taal Nachom, Maibi Jagoi, and Thougal Jagoi, showcasing Manipur's rich cultural heritage.
