Conference on "Empowering voices in NE India" concludes

Imphal, February 01 2025: A two-day national conference on "Empowering voices in North East India: A social dialogue on ethical journalism for a vibrant future in the region" concluded today at Manipur University, Canchipur.

The conference was organised by the Department of Mass Communication, Manipur University in collaboration with NIBIAA Consultancy Private Limited under the sponsorship of North Eastern Council, Shillong.

The closing function was graced by Prof N Lokendro Singh, Vice Chancellor, Manipur University; Prof N Irabanta, chairman, NIBIAA Consultancy Private Limited; Prof L Memcha, Dean, School of Social Sciences, Manipur University and Prof Khaba Kabi, Head, Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh as presidium members.

About 40 delegates from universities across the country presented papers during the two-day national conference.
