Imphal, June 30 2026: The Honorary Doctorate Grand Award Ceremony 2026, jointly organised by the World Human Rights Protection Organisation LLC, Colorado, USA, and Golden Dragon Ibudhou Pakhangba International University, Colorado, USA, was held Monday at Manipur Press Club.

Laureate Dr N Irabanta, senior vice president, Association of Indian Private University, Ghaziabad, attended as chief guest.

Dr Arambam Noni, Associate Professor, DM University, was guest of honour, while Dr Loijinglenchingsanglakpa, international grade grand crown chairman, WHRPO, presided over the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Moirangthem Sorojini Leima, Northeast president of WHRPO, said the organisation is currently working with 54 countries on human rights issues.

She stressed the need to collaborate with all States and Nations, noting that other groups are also working with dedication in the human rights field.

Sorojini added that safeguarding individual rights through such initiatives will greatly aid in protecting the Nation.

"We have not stopped our efforts.

We hope to work together with every country in the world", she said.
