Thoubal, December 31 2024: A condolence meeting was held today to condole the sudden demise of former Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh.

The condolence meeting organised by District Congress Committee, Kakching was attended by A Rahaman Chesaba, president, DCC Kakching, Md Fajur Rahim, Ex MLA, working president MPCC, Ksh Kennedy, secretary MPCC, Dr H Jiten, MPCC member M Inakkhunbi, councilor KMC, M Uma, councillor KMC, M Memcha, councillor KMC, Md Firoz Khan, spokesperson MPCC, N Ashok, president BCC Kakching, E Inaotombi, S Leimai and Y Debala as presidium members.

The condolence meeting was also attended by various Congress leaders and supporters of Congress.

During the meeting, Md Fajur Rahim, working president of MPCC and Ksh Kenedy, general secretary of MPCC acknowledged Singh's contributions to the development of the North east, particularly Manipur, during his term as Prime Minister.
