Naorem Roshibina Devi felicitated

Bishnupur, September 29 2026: Arjuna Awardee Naorem Roshibina Devi, who won silver medal in Wushu in the ongoing 20th Asian Games has been accorded a warm welcome during a reception programme held at Kwasiphai today.

The reception programme was organised by Kwasiphai Apunba Reception Committee to felicitate Naorem Roshibina Devi on her remarkable achievement.

Addressing the gathering, Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam expressed joy and congratulated Roshibina for winning the silver medal.

Stating that strong determination and sincere efforts coupled with hard work leads to success, the Minister extended best wishes and success to Roshibina in her future endeavours.

Govindas also maintained that sports should not be politicised as it may hinder the spirit of players and lead to degradation of sports in the country.

Roshibina while speaking at the occasion expressed gratitude to all who have supported her sports' journey and said that she will continue to strive for success in future championships.
