'Workshop cum production of Vrindavan Varnan' concludes

Imphal, May 29 2022: The valedictory function of 'Workshop cum production of Vrindavan Varnan (Dance Drama)' was held at the auditorium of Jawaharlal Nehru Manipuri Dance Academy (JNMDA) today.

The workshop was organised by Guru Abunghal Dance & Music Centre, Keishamthong Longjam Leirak with support from Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi.

The function was graced by JNMDA Director, Pukhrambam Bilash, president of Media Theatre Institute, K B Sharma and president of Guru Abunghal Dance and Music Centre, K Hemchandra as the presidium members.

Speaking at the occasion, secretary of Guru Abunghal Dance and Music Centre, N Memcha said that the centre was established in 1993 in the memory of the Late Guru who strove for the development of Manipuri culture.

She further appealed to all to support the various art forms and their artists as they have been working relentlessly to ensure that such art forms prosper.
