Imphal, August 28 2024: A two-day training programme on "Diversification, business development & profit planning" for selected 20 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) concluded today at the conference hall of the Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM), Lamphelpat.

The training programme was organised by ICM, Imphal in collaboration with CSP Cell, Manipur State Cooperative Bank Ltd (MSCB), Imphal under the sponsorship of NABARD, Manipur Regional Office (under Cooperative Development Fund for Comprehensive Support Plan).

The valedictory function was graced by P Ranjit Singh, President, MSCB; Yumnam Subhachandra Singh, Vice President, MSCB; Khoichung Rangamlia Aimol, Director, ICM, Imphal and Deepu Raj Tongbram, Programme Coordinator, ICM Imphal as presidium members.

The function began with a welcome address delivered by Piyainu Thounaojam, Faculty, ICM, Imphal.

Speaking on the occasion, P Ranjit expressed hope that the training programme will be hugely beneficial to the people.

He also stressed on the importance of co-operative societies in the development of the State and the Nation.

The function culminated with a vote of thanks proposed by Laishram Sashmita, Resource Person, CSP Cell, MSCB, Imphal.
