Koireng-led UNLF condoles

Imphal, June 28 2025: The Koireng-led UNLF and its armed wing MPA have condoled the demise of its local volunteer Narengbam Allenshor alias SK of Wangjing Sorokhaibam Leikai.

According to a press release issued by the outfit's Secretary of Publicity M Shak-Hen, Allenshor alias SK died of viral fever at a transit camp at around 8.30 am of June 26, 2025 .

Allenshor alias SK was the eldest of two brothers and one sister bom to Narengbam Apollo and Ashalata of Wangjing Sorokhaibam Leikai.

Allenshor is survived by his wife and a two-month old baby boy, it said.

Allenshor alias SK came into contact with the party in the beginning of the current year.

Driven by his strong belief in the party's ideology, he left Manipur to undergo MPA's basic military training.

However, he fell ill at a transit camp before reaching MPA General Headquarters.

He was taken to a hospital in the morning of June 26, 2025 but he died of viral fever on the same day.

The demise of Allenshor is a big loss not only for the outfit but also for the whole liberation movement, it said.

The outfit and its armed wing have also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.

It also prayed that the lifeless body of Allenshor may merge with earth and rest in peace.
