Mahila Kavya Manch fetes HSE ranker at 24th Kavi Sammelan

Imphal, April 28 2026: Mahila Kavya Manch Manipur hosted its 24th Kavi Sammelan along with a special felicitation ceremony at the Dosuyali Hall in Kwakeithel Moirangpurel today.

The event honored Pebam Taibangnganba for securing the 2nd position in the Science stream of the Higher Secondary Examination, 2026 conduced by COHSEM.

Mahila Kavya Manch presented him with a citation and a memento for his academic achievement.

The ceremony was attended by several distinguished guests, including Dr RK Nayansana, former Chairperson of Manipur State Social Welfare Board and former Director, Department of Agriculture; Dr Ksh Subadani, president of Mahila Kavya Manch Manipur; and Dr Naorem Aheljanao, Assistant Professor at Manipur University.

Addressing the gathering, Dr RK Nayansana praised the 24th Kavi Sammelan, noting that such programmes provide a vital platform for poets.

She also commended the young achiever, stating that his success is a source of pride for the community and encouraged him to continue his hard work to become a responsible citizen.

The symposium featured various poets who shared their literary works, making the event a successful blend of academic celebration and cultural expression.
