Imphal, April 27 2026: A new patriotic music video titled "Pokkhi Ima Leibakta- Kanglei Nongsha" was officially released yesterday at the JawaharlalNehru Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA) in Imphal.

The video was launched in the presence of prominent figures, including Heigrujam Nabashyam, chairman of World Meetei Council; Ronel Kangjam, secretary of Film Forum Manipur; and senior journalist Yambem Laba.

The song carries a significant historical legacy, having been originally written by Maipak Maisnam in 1964.The composition was handled by Ibochou Yaikhom and late Kangabam Bijoy, with music arrangement by Muyai Hiyangcha and Harichandra Elangbam.

The vocal performances feature a collaborative effort from artists including Purnima Elangbam, Umananda Maibam and Nganthoi Sorokhaibam.

The production was a collaborative effort with choreography by Ringo Angom and Sukumar Elangbam; direction by Arun Wabagai; and creative direction and production supervision by NK Khuman (Yambem Arun Meetei) .

It was produced by Elangbam Brojekumar and edited by L Mohendro.

The release concluded with a heartfelt dedication from the creators, who offered the song as a tribute to the public and a mark of respect to fallen heroes.
