IRCS Jiribam extends aid to ailing elderly people

Jiribam, February 26 2025: Indian Red Cross Society, Jiribam led by its chairperson, H Rajen Kr Singh today distributed blankets, hygiene kits, and other items to 12 underprivileged aged persons of Jiribam district.

The aid initiative was accompanied by Indian Red Cross Society, IRCS Manipur State branch, chairman, Narendra Ningomba, vice chairman Dr L Manglem, treasurer Premjit Naoroibam, former chairman Dr Y Mohen Singh, Indian Red Cross Society Jiribam District, chairman, Huirem Rajenkumar Singh, general secy L Jaminikanta Singh and other volunteers of the IRCS.

The aid materials like Jumbo boxes, bed covers, towels were bought from the money donated by TMP while IRCS provided Tarpaulin and hygiene kits.

The bathrooms constructed by the IRCS for relief camps inmates were also handed to the inmates during the visit.
