Lions Club launches community health initiative at Wapokpi

Imphal, November 25 2025: The Lions Club of Imphal Golden Pride, under Lions International District 322D, launched its Lionistic Year 2025-26 community health initiative today at Wapokpi Youth Development Club, Kumbi.

The camp offered free diabetes detection, vision screening, dental check-ups and general medical services for the public.

The programme, organised under the "One District One Activity November" campaign, was jointly conducted in collaboration with Horizon Hospital, Iboyaima Hospital & Research Centre, One Smile Dental Clinic, Healthy Dental Clinic and the Past Pupil Association of Little Flower School.

Beginning from 9.30 am, the camp witnessed strong public participation from the region, with residents a vailing various diagnostic and consultation services.

Free medicines were also distributed to the beneficiaries.
