MIYC, NRC to organise special lecture

Imphal, August 23 2024: In a bid to redevelop scientific temperament in studying Mathematical sciences among the youths, Manipur International Youth Centre (MIYC) and National Research Centre (NRC) will be jointly organising a "Special Lecture & Interaction Program on the World of Mathematics research, challenges & career" at the Naorem Sanajaoba Public Library Hall, National Research Centre (NRC) Building, opposite to the Manipur University Main Gate on August 24 at 1 pm.

According to a release issued by MIYC, the event will feature Prof Shanta Laishram, a distinguished mathematician and Head of the Theoretical Statistics and Mathematics Unit at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), New Delhi.

Further, the MIYC and NRC have urged the students from Classes IX to XII, and college and university students to come and join the special event to prospect the study of the discipline of Mathematics.
