NPP Ukhrul-Kamjong Unit congratulates Jason Jajo on appointment as NPST Front president

Ukhrul, March 22 2026: The Ukhrul-Kamjong Unit of the National People's Party (NPP) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Jason Jajo on his appointment as the president of the National People's Party Scheduled Tribes Front (NPST), Manipur State Unit.

In a statement, the unit lauded Jajo's extensive experience in both public and social service.

He previously served as an executive member (Phungva) of the Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) and has been actively involved with several nongovernmental organisations working in tribal areas as a community mobilizer.

The statement further noted that prior to joining the NPP, Jajo was a senior party worker of the Indian National Congress (INC), reflecting his long-standing engagement in political and grassroots activities.

Extending its best wishes, the Ukhrul-Kamjong NPP Unit expressed confidence that under Jajo's leadership, the NPST Front will continue to grow stronger and effectively serve the aspirations and interests of tribal communities across Manipur.
