Imphal, August 21 2024: Manipur State Power Company Limited (MSPCL) has informed that the consumers of 11kv Phalang and 11kv Leiheidung are facing power outage due to the tripping of the power transformer of 33kv/11kv Hundung on August 17, 2024 .

A release issued by the Manager of SSSD-V, MSPCL, stated that after a proper inspection, the power transformer was found to be damaged extensively and needed to be replaced.

"A substitute transformer of similar capacity is being arranged at the moment", it added.

Furthermore, MSPCL expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to the public and added that the testing and transportation of the transformer will take some time due to the present weather & road conditions.
