Federation of Haomee welcomes Guv's stand on infiltration

Imphal, April 21 2022: Federation of Haomee has warmly welcomed Governor La Ganesan's statement against illegal immigration and infiltration into the State.

The Federation has also appealed to the State Government to act on the Governor's statement and control illegal immigration.

In a press release, Sapamcha Jadumani, president Federation of Haomee said that the organisation had submitted numerous memoranda to the Prime Minister of India with regards to the illegal entry of foreigners into Manipur.

However, these did not bear any fruitful results.

Further, the Federation pointed out that there have been several cases of abnormal increase in the number of voters in certain constituencies.

On top of this, the Federation also mentioned the sprouting of several hundreds of villages, stating that these are proof of foreigners entering and settling in the State illegally.

As such, the Federation has appealed to the State Government to back the Governor's sentiment and take up measures to control infiltration and illegal immigration.
