Greenland School inaugurated at Nambol

Moirang, January 21 2026: A newly established educational institution, Greenland School, was formally inaugurated today at Nambol Khajiri Maning Leikai, with an aim to impart quality education and nurture young minds.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by DIET, Imphal East principal Pramorani Haobam; Greenland School founder Salam Bankimchandra; chairman Salam Budhachandra; caretaker chairperson of Nambol Municipal Council, Ch Basanta, along with other eminent personalities.

Speaking on the occasion, DIET Imphal East principal Pramorani Haobam highlighted the importance of the National Education Policy (NEP), 2020 .

She stressed that teachers must be well-equipped with the framework and guidelines of the NEP arid adapt to evolving modem teaching methodologies while imparting education to young students.

She further stated that only when teachers provide clear and comprehensive education can it help in shaping a better society.

Urging educators to keep pace with global trends, she encouraged them to embrace innovative and modem teaching practices and strive to lead in the adoption of new methods of education.
