Thoubal, July 19 2025: A financial literacy camp as part of the 3-Months Saturation Campaign on Financial Inclusion Schemes at Gram Panchayat Level was held at Khekman Zilla Keithel under Thoubal district today.

The camp was organised by Punjab & Sind Bank (Khekman Branch) in collaboration with LDM Thoubal District, District Administration Thoubal, MSRLM and CRISIL Foundation under the leadership of Department of Financial Services India.

Notable dignitaries present at the event include Samurailatpam Baleshwar Sharma, Pradhan, Khekman Gram Panchayat; Manager, Punjab & Sind Bank (Khekman Branch); Assistant Manager Bala Thongam; Bank Officer SN Putou and other staff of the bank.

During the camp, the gathering was informed about PMJDY account opening, PMJJBY, PMSBY, APY, re-KYC of all savings bank accounts, digital fraud prevention and unclaimed deposits.

Officials of Punjab & Sind Bank (Khekman Branch) also distributed loan sanction letters to VLFs under Khekman GP of Lilong CD Block who were also in attendance at the financial literacy camp.
