Kakching, August 18 2024: A free health camp was held yesterday at Kakching, benefiting inmates of a relief camp opened at Kakching Wairi Panjao Pallum.

The event was hosted at Kha Manipur College and was jointly organised by the United Clubs Organisation (UCO) and Naorem Suranjoy, owner of Naorem Pharma, Kakching.

The services provided in the free health camp included medicines, paediatric, and dental care, with medicines provided by Naorem Pharma free of cost.

Ningthoujam Praphulo, a member of the United Club Organisation (UCO), said that the camp aimed at supporting the inmates who have been affected by the ongoing Manipur conflict over the past 14-15 months.

He also expressed his gratitude on behalf of the internally displaced people to Naorem Suranjoy for his generous contribution and urged others to organise similar initiatives for other relief camps.
