High Court Bar Association elects office bearers

Imphal, June 17 2025: The High Court Bar Association of Manipur has appointed new office bearers following an election held on June 14 for the term 2025-27 at the premises of the High Court of Manipur.

According to a press release issued by the High Court Bar Association, Senior Advocate N Kumarjit Singh was appointed as the president; Senior Advocate N Umakanta Singh as the vice-president and Advocate Pushpa Gurumayum as the secretary.

Additionally, Advocate Geetarani Waikhom, Advocate Mayonki Ngalung and Advocate Sillori Laisom were elected as joint secretary while Senior Advocate Sapam Biswajit and Senior Advocate Rarry Mangsatabam constituted the managing committee (senior members) .

Moreover, Advocate Aribam Gautam Sharma, Government Counsel and Addl Public Prosecutor Chongtham Sundari and Advocate Ksh Harichhaya Chanu were elected as executive members; Advocate Thoudam Sobhana Devi as the "lady member"; Advocate Hodam Bisheshwari Devi as "young lawyer" and Senior Advocate L Anand Singh as the ex-officio member.

Altogether 14 office bearers were inducted into the High Court Bar Association of Manipur.
