Seva Setu Abhiyan held at Ukhrul

Ukhrul, October 16 2026: The District Administration Ukhrul organised a two-day Seva Setu Abhiyan for the people of Ukhrul district to help them avail the Government welfare schemes and public services at their doorstep.

Deputy Commissioner, Ukhrul Uppuluri Chaitanya launched the Seva Setu Abhiyaan in the presence of ADC Polly Makan, CEO Ningreingam Leisan and SDC Yurreikan Hungyo at Mini Secretariat office premises Hamleikhong, Ukhrul.

The DC inspected all the stalls that were set up for public services.

It may be noted that 25 Government Departments set up stalls and provided facilities for beneficiary enrolment, verification, documentation and application for various Government schemes.

The DC interacted with the public and encouraged them to register in the Government portal to receive the Government support beneficiaries schemes for sustainable development.

As a part of the programme, the Ukhrul DC distributed dehydrators, sewing machines and financial assistance to more than 110 beneficiaries through Production System & Micro Enterprise under PMKSY WDC-2.0 while the Horticulture and Soil Conservation office, Ukhrul distributed water pump sets and winter vegetables to the farmers.

Many Ukhrul denizens availed the services during the Seva Setu Abhiyan camp today.
