Imphal, October 16 2025: In a significant move to help the senior citizens, Modhu & Sanahanbi Memorial Trust today distributed winter gifts and health cards to senior citizens (above 7 5 years) of Pourabi and nearby areas.

The function held at Gem Public School in Pourabi, Imphal East district, was attended by Jogendrajit Thokchom, Assistant Director, News Section, Akashvani Imphal; Thamabati, District Social Officer, Imphal East; Dr Lourembam Indira, Chief Medical Officer Imphal East; W Ibohanbi, chairman, Modhu & Sanahanbi Memorial Trust; and K Kalachand, former Chairperson, Waiton Gram Panchayat as presidium members.

During the event, winter gifts were presented to over 100 senior citizens, and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (PMJAY) & Chief Minister gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) cards were distributed to 70 senior citizens.
