CADA organises academic awareness programme

Imphal, February 15 2026: As part of their campaign against drugs and alcohol, the Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) organised an academic awareness programme on Sunday at Galaxy Tutorials Coaching Centre, Wanjing SK Leikai, Thoubal district.

According to a press release, the theme of the awareness programme was "the impact of narcotic substances on society".

At the programme, Hijam Priyokumar, president, CADA; and Loitongbam Lalitchandra, founder, Galaxy Tutorials Coaching Centre, attended as presidium members, while Ningthoujam Doren, vice-president, CADA served as the resource person of the programme.

Speakers highlighted the detrimental impact of narcotic and addictive substances on students, and elaborated how it ultimately affects society as a whole.

They also stressed the role of parents, teachers, and meira paibis in the fight against drugs and alcohol to make Manipur a drug-free state.
