Lions Club of Kakching Greater celebrates 14th Charter Nite

Kakching, February 15 2025: The 14th Charter Nite celebration of Lions Club of Kakching Greater was held today at the auditorium of Representatives of Lois (ROL) Kakching at Kakching Chumnang Leikai.

The event marked the completion of 14 years since the establishment of the Lions Club of Kakching Greater.

The celebration was organised under the aegis of Lions Club International District 332-D .

The event was attended by Memcha Khundongbam, Region Chairperson, Lions Club International District 332-D as the chief guest; Uttamkumar Naorem, president, Lions Club of Kakching Greater as the functional president and Mutum Nabachandra, Zone Chairperson, Zone VI as the guest of honour.

On the occasion, Nongmaithem Sunita, secretary, Lions Club of Kakching Greater presented the Club's annual report.

Led by former Club president Naorem Nomita, the gathering took a rededication pledge.

As a part of the event, prizes were distributed to the winners of the Lion Peace Poster Contest 2024-25 .

Harsha Naorem from Padma Ratna English School, Kakching; Khoibam Rohit from Kakching Higher Secondary School and Naorem Ganraj from Kakching Public School bagged the first, second and third prizes respectively.
