Festival of Classical Solo Dance from Dec 17

Imphal, December 14 2025: Manipur State Kala Akademi (MSKA), Imphal is organising the Festival of Classical Solo Dance, 2025 from December 17 to 20, 2025 at the auditorium of JNMDA, Imphal.

Altogether, 15 artistes including 3 senior artistes of the State namely N Amusana Devi, Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee; S Noyonshakhi Devi, Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee; and Ranjit Adhikarimayum, Manipur State Kala Akademi Awardee; one dancer of Kathak, Odissi & Kuchipudi; and other 9 dancers representing different cultural organisations are presenting their finest solo dance items in the festival, said a release issued by MSKA.

Aribam Syam Sharma, eminent cultural personality; L Joychandra Singh, Vice Chairman, JNMDA, Imphal; and Akham Lakshmi Devi, Sangeet Natak Awardee will grace the inaugural function as presidium members.

There will be no entry fees for the festival.
