Combined Annual Training Camp begins

Imphal, December 13 2025: The Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) 2025-26 of the Indep NCC Coy (JD/SD) of Sainik School Imphal began today at the school campus in Imphal.

The camp, conducted under the leadership of Lt Col Satish Kumar Singh, OC NCC Coy & Camp Commander, aims to inculcate discipline, leadership qualities, esprit de corps and a sense of national service among the cadets, said a release.

A well-structured training schedule comprising drill, physical training, weapon's training, map reading, leadership & personality development sessions and social awareness activities have been planned to provide holistic development of the cadets.

A total of 123 cadets are taking part in the camp.

Moreover, the 26th Annual Sports Meet of Sainik Foundation School, a primary school functioning under the aegis of Sainik School Imphal concluded today with great enthusiasm and festive spirit.

The ceremony was graced by Advocate Asha Rajiv Nair, first lady of Sainik School Imphal and mentor of SFS as the chief guest.

In her address, Asha Rajiv Nair lauded the young students for their spirited participation and emphasised the importance of sports in building character, teamwork and resilience from an early age.

Shivaji House emerged victorious and was awarded the prestigious Cock House Trophy.

The ceremony was attended by a horde of parents other than the Lt Col Satish Kumar Singh, Headmistress N Sunita Devi and other guests.
