All Manipur Gorkha Students' Union condemns

Kangpokpi, October 12 2026: The All Manipur Gorkha Students' Union (AMGSU) has strongly condemned the killing of Sandeep Rai by unidentified miscreants at Chepu Yaolen on October 10 .

The incident has raised serious concerns over the safety and security of people in the State.

Expressing deep sorrow over the tragic incident, AMGSU conveyed its concern over the loss of a precious human life and extended its condolences to the bereaved family.

AMGSU has urged the Central and State Government, and the authorities concerned to take immediate and effective steps to restore lasting peace and harmony in the State.

The union emphasized the need for sincere efforts from all stakeholders to ensure the safety and security of every citizen and prevent such tragic incidents from recurring.

The union further called upon the authorities to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the incident, identify those responsible for the killing, and take appropriate legal action against the perpetrators.
