Former scribe P Nandajit feted on winning bodybuilding gold

Imphal, October 12 2025: Constable P Nandajit who also happens to be a former staff reporter of Pandam, an evening local daily, was today feted at the Pandam office located at Sagolband Wahengbam Leikai on winning a gold medal at the 74th All India Police Wrestling Cluster 2025.Nandajit won the gold medal in the 60 kg category bodybuilding competition at the event hosted in Haryana from September 20 to 24.Managing Editor of Pandam, Moirangthem Naokhomba led other staff in congratulating and felicitating the former scribe who also contributed immensely towards making a healthy society with his bodybuilding and anti drug activities.

Nandajit was associated with the Manipur Anti Drug Association as a bodybuilding instructor since 2006 before becoming a staff reporter of Pandam from 2016 and carried forward his bodybuilding activities as a gym instructor at All Manipur Working Journalists' Union's gym.

He joined Manipur Police as a constable in 2019 and represented Manipur Police Sports Club at the All India Police Cluster event.

He had also won a bronze medal earlier in the 71st edition of the All India Police Cluster hosted in Maharashtra.
